Errors usage in media discourse Kazakhstan

Abstract

The language situation of modern Kazakhstan has its own characteristics. Despite the fact that since independence Kazakhstan has been twenty five years, the concept of «mankurtism», continues to be an urgent problem in the Kazakh society. The word «mankurt» was first used by Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov’s novel «Buran stop». About «mankurtism» as a social phenomenon, and wrote a well-known public figure of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Shakhanov. Using communicative – pragmatic approach, the author examines the causes of manifestation «mankurtism» in the Kazakhstan television. In the course of the study in the paper analyzes word usage errors in the media discourse on the example of Kazakhstan’s television program «Talent Show».
