Shortcomings in the coverage of environmental problems

This scientific article is devoted to the ecological problems of Kazakhstan and their peculiarities,
coverage of the ways of effective use of environmental and natural resources in mass media. Currently,
many scientists are engaged in the prerequisites for the formation of environmental culture and its propaganda
among the population. Very little work is done to improve the activities of environmental
monitoring and controlling institutions and lack of transparency in the coverage of research results is
observed. Having studied environmental problems, we are increasingly convinced that it is necessary to
find a solution to these problems, otherwise it may be too late. In this regard, we need a modern ideology.
Every person should know the basics of ecology. If we do not cultivate love for nature in young
generation from the very beginning, it is obvious that we will lose much. If you instill love for nature,

then in the human subconscious, blood and views, a foundation will be formed that one cannot harm
the environment. Only then can people actively participate in protecting the environment of their native
land. Writing articles for many magazines, presenting reports, providing information on television and
meeting with writers and scientists give positive results. It is important to convince people that a person
is part of nature. The social significance of materials on the consequences of environmental disasters for
humans can now be considered as one of the pressing issues that require careful study. The emergence
of an environmental problem is primarily associated with socio-economic factors and can be resolved
with the help of technical means and by reorienting views and attitude of man to the environment. In this
article, shortcomings in the coverage of environmental problems in mass media, information on ecological
sites and ways of using them are analyzed. The importance of identifying environmental problems in
mass media is also considered.
