Abstract

In modern mediaresearches interest increases in “journalism of trips” (travel‒ journalism). The at-tempts of determination of definitions, typology, and also genesis of this segment of mass-media. It is explained by increasing interest of society in the process of culturological communication, when information about not well-known countries, traditions and customs of people enriches the inner world of man, elevates mind and even forms a world view. “Moscow magazine” today examined as a histori-cal prototype of modern glossy editions about trips. In Kazakhstan of basis of travel journalism maked Shokan Ualikhanov in “Essays of Dzungaria” and “Trip to Кashgar”. Scientific meaningfulness of the article is determined by research of historical aspects of becoming of modern of glossy editions about trips. Research methodology envisages approach of the systems, method of selection, analysis. Research result consists in the analysis of genre and conceptual originality of “journalism of trips” as important constituent of cross-cultural communication. Modern terminology of mass-media requires a scientific and humanitarian base, that determines the scientific value of this article. A practical value consists in possibility of introduction of research results in the process of educating on the faculties of journalism of institutions of higher learning of РК on profile disciplines. The got results can use also authors of me-diatexts, employees of PR of services of the different states and territories, positioning itself as an object for making voyage
