The function of the epithet in a poetic text zhyrau XV­XVIII centuries

Abstract

This article exposes major artistically-stylistic regularity of functioning of poetic text of «Zhirau». An object of analysis appears to be an epithet as the main aspect, with its expressiveness and art, as one of the key of artistic facilities among all the poetic system. The multifunctionness and efficiency of epithet is well known to philological science. In our article  we rather give a practical use of this artistic style, in an artistycal-speech communication, in a work of Kazakh Zhirau, in the aspect of functioning of verbal stylish technique. Possibilities of this epic technique maximally open up here. On the example of remarkable standards of verbal artistic idea of the Kazakh people the Kazakh singers find out in the orally-stylish practice new possibilities of this style, demonstrate unexpected, fresh char- acters and aesthetic discoveries.
