Article is devoted to a life and work of great east poet of Omar Khayy- am, the recognized master of the quatrains philosophical and accomplished in the form «rubaji» which have turned today to winged aphorisms, say- ings, introductions. The author studies only to Khayyam a creative manner of the letter filled by «pessimistic» humor, space sense, as well as analyzes vital and creative twists and turns in the life of the poet. It is a lot of cen- turies was known as the famous mathematician, the astronomer and the physicist, but only in 19 century of the publication of the European transla- tions of its poetic lines have really made its world-wide famous singer of a life, great and insignificant at the same time.
