Value of written sources about crying across Alyp Er Tonga (Saksky governor Afrasiyab).

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of the work of Makmut Kashgari “Divan Lugat at-Turk” which is the first manuscript about famous ruler of Saks’ under the name of Afrasyab. The article explores the importance of the work of Mahmud Kashgari “Divan Lugat at-Turk” which is one of the first references to the famous ruler of Saks’ Afrasiab. Also this work is not only a dictionary but also an important source of ancient Turkic literature. Multiple sources of ancient Turkic literature in Chinese, in Fars, in Arabic languages. Sofa Lugati-at Turk is considered as one of the first source in ancient language. At first time inside the work it was written that Sak’s ruler Afrasiyab is Alp Er Tonga who is known as famous Turkish hero and ruler.
