The history of “Kazak” newspaper

Abstract

The article is devoted to history of creation of the Kazakh national newspaper “Kazak” which was published for the first time in 1913. Along with the newspaper “Kazak” to the public there were such editions, as “Aikap”, “Kazakhstan”, “Eshim dalasy”. But the newspaper “Kazak” became the most demanded and multiproduction edition. It kept fidelity to ideas of fight of the Kazakh intellectuals of 1905, and didn’t cease to fight for freedom for the sake of justice, supporting unity of the Kazakh people. The Kazakh intellectuals which have rallied round the public newspaper, put forward the national, democratic purposes, instead of class interests. Therefore the newspaper “Kazak” is the first national and political edition.
