Abstract

The author considers the main types and functions of publishing advertizing in book business. Publishing houses use different instruments of advertizing and with different intensity. Public relations takes the special place in system of communicative public relations. Specialists in PR in publishing house have to own skills and receptions of the organization of communications with mass media, carrying out advertizing campaigns, press conferences, book exhibitions and fairs.
