Branch publishing house in Kazakhstan: yesterday and today

Abstract

In the article one of hot topics of modern Kazakhstan book publishing – specifics of domestic branch publishing houses – is investigated. The author studies historical preconditions of emergence of branch publishing houses, a current state, the main problems and perspective of development’s direction. The special attention is paid to the problem of a demand of branch literature.
