Abstract

Author of the article, analyzing the study of domestic and foreign scientists, considers stages of development of media, the history of development of the sphere of television and new media tools in chronological order. Along with this work are comprehensively studied methods of information exchange in the media environment and their use in television journalism. Also presented new facts about the history of Kazakh Internet, expressed an opinion about the original function of the modern television journalism. Skillfully explained such a thing as a «second screen», formed under the influence of social media and developed the idea of its impact on the television medium in information exchange. The author examines in detail the process of convergence in the world of journalism after the onset of the Internet and determines its role in the national information and spatial cycle. He gives a score of multimedia journalism and its scope in the mass-media environment of Kazakhstan which is seeking to meet the needs of a modern audience. In the context of the subject, he carried through systematic poll of the audience and Internet users. Based on these solid scientific arguments he summarizes the impact of the new media and traditional media on public opinion.
