Retrospective Portraits: a comparative analysis

Abstract

The proposed article in the context of comparative method of journalistic science and the concept of historical actualitycarefully analyzes pencil sketches of last years,works of artists, daguerreotypes and photos of the famous people. Giving voice vitality documentary photographs, the authors try to track the fate of the characters, their personal characteristics and specific social relationships. At the same time the relevant examples from the works of world and national classics thoroughly reinforce the unity of text and images, changes of image formats in the cognitive process.
