Content problems in multimedia journalism
Abstract
The article deals with some key features of researches, connected with the change of editorial modus
operandi in the online media. Special attention in his review is paid to the detailed elements of such process.
This type of analyzis creates the ground for detailed contemplation of online media texts.The most
urgent problems of modern media environment cannot be solved without adequate content modelling
and managing technologies applied in mass multimedia and without revealing the specifics of content
synergy impact on the audience.
Nowadays in media industry crisis determines the search for new content models. Visualization
becomes one of the media communication dominant, and defines new directions, visual journalism, formats, virtual reality journalism. The author proposed for the conceptual framework of the study of
visual in a new direction - visual media studies. The paper documented the transformation of features of
journalism and media models in this paradigm, shows the parameters of multimedia content strategies.
