The role of media in the implementation of ideology
Abstract
The article examines the relationship of media with power, power and ideology, as well as the role
of media in the implementation of ideology. The author pays attention to the basic theory of the study
of ideology, gives an overview of its historical development. The role of the media in the formation of
public consciousness is disclosed, an analysis is given leading to examples from public events. Also
the relationship between the individual, social groups, social institutions and the dominant ideology is
encompassed.
