Abstract

In the Kazakhstan journalism there are some names of authors which «specialize» generally in a genre of the publicistic essay. It is interesting that they are not «pure» journalists. Writing of the essay acts in their creativity as to a hobby, but they are written more frequently when it is impossible to keep silence. For example, the famous Kazakhstan writer Gerold Belger in different newspapers published a number of brilliant essays on hot topics under the general name «Nonsense Network». The essay takes also solid place in creativity of the known Kazakhstan publicist, the historian and the researcher of modern journalism, the doctor of historical sciences, professor Sagymbay Kabashevich Kozybayev.
