This article is devoted to the journalism of front-line writers who have firsthand knowledge of military
difficulties. Their works characterized by the internal interdependence of psychology and sociality,
close attention to the character, the inner world of man.
In general, social and moral issues will attract the attention of publicists and researchers for a
long time, because works on folk exploits, glorifying the heroism and courage of ordinary soldiers
and officers, as well as workers in the rear, that is, ordinary people, will sound in new ways. And
the philosophical richness of the narrative led to the fact that the publicists turned to the genre of
the story as a subjective form of the narrative, their youthful dreams were cut short by the war. The
world of Shakespeare and Tolstoy, Goethe and Mayakovsky, Pushkin and Dreiser was destroyed on
a summer morning when the news of the beginning of the war came. Socio-moral themes during the
years of military trials are skillfully displayed in Nurshaikhov’s novels “The Old Notebook”, in the
works of Sharipov, etc. Each of the authors has his own war story, those pictures that remained in
the children’s memory.
