The electoral process and the media

Abstract

The article is devoted to the electoral process and the role of media  in them. The issue in Kazakhstan has not been studied enough. It is noted that the media are the most important attributes of the political life of so- ciety in general and the electoral process in particular. In bringing to the public information about elections in general and accessible form, in free and fair conduct of the process associated with the present and future life of the country, the important role played by the media. Kazakh media are now active participants in the electoral process, they are involved in elec- tions at all levels.
