Study of mass-media as an instrument of conflict management in consumer rights protection

The relevance of the study is determined by the necessity of drawing attention of the government and society to future improvement of journalists training program. The aims and objectives of the study presuppose scientific analysis of media literacy formation on the basis of new media usage, and interrelation of this process with the training of media specialists. Scholarly importance of the proposed project is based on significance of the correlation between conflict management problems, and critical issues of consumer rights protection sphere. Now, the special Internet platform representing Kazakhstani consumer interests does not exist. Scientific analysis of these problems from the point of view of media-sphere evolution was also not conducted; so that, it is necessary to work out the model of journalist professional competence in the sphere of conflict management. Practical importance of the study consists in elaboration of the elective discipline «Journalists activity in the spheres of consumer right protection and conflict management». Comparative investigation of new electronic and traditional media experience in consumer rights protection inside the Commonwealth of Independent States and abroad is also topical. Providing of the set of journalistic stories in Kazakh and Russian, doing social advertisements is considered to be a part of journalists’ professional competence.Downloads
