The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly enhanced the role of immersive media in the information space. The main aim of this study is to analyze the development trends of immersive technologies (virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality) and their impact on media consumption, the perception of reality, and communication in society. The research employed comparative and content analysis, case study methods, as well as elements of visual analysis. The author identified changes in media culture, the influence of immersive formats on professional fields (journalism, education), and the formation of a new reality space. The study’s findings demonstrate that immersive media redefine the boundaries between the real and the virtual, deepening the media experience. Furthermore, these technologies have a significant effect on how reality is perceived and interpreted, raising communication processes to a new level. The scientific value of the work lies in the theoretical grounding of the concept of «immersive life» and the analysis of these technologies within the social and cultural context. Its practical significance is reflected in the potential application of the results in media content creation, digital education, and the development of future journalism strategies. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the potential of immersive media and provides guidance on its application across various sectors of society.
