Abstract

This article presents general concepts about media design, a brief history of the origin of design in the world and Kazakhstan. There also presents the tasks, responsibilities and principles of media de-sign. The author also writes about multimedia design priorities, which is important for media design of the periodical press. Modern multimedia technologies have a significant impact on the mass culture of any society, and in the context of globalization and on world culture in general. Information permeates any space of culture, condenses the life time of cultures, accelerates their formation, transformation and evolution. Multimedia culture in the most direct way forms the mass consciousness, affects the person, changing the style and way of life, attitude, world outlook and worldview. In this regard, the role of training specialists in the field of audiovisual culture, which can harmonize the information en-vironment and humanize multimedia culture, in general, is growing. During the writing the topic was based on the methods of presentation, comparison of information, analysis, historical data, synthesis. The article discusses the relevance and communication of information technology and media design.
