The role of acoustics in a radiobroadcasting

Abstract

Since the acoustic design of radio programs, along with other sound manipulations, takes place on special technical equipment, future radio and television journalists must master new systems. Acoustics is one way to illustrate radio broadcasts to connect with listeners. It plays an important role both on radio and television, as it is a significant factor in the process of semantic transmission.

The aim of the research is to determine the role of acoustic design in radio and television broadcasts.

The main tasks of the article include the following points: defining the historical and applied role of acoustics in various fields; analysis of current research and views on the role of acoustics in modern media content; describe modern methods of sound recording and digitization; identification of the latest trends in the development of acoustic methods and techniques for the preparation of radio and television broadcasts.

The object of the research is the acoustic component in radio and television broadcasting.

The relevance of the study is that the properties of acoustics in radio broadcasting are not fully understood. Many foreign scientists have often studied its role in physical spaces. However, the relevance of this study lies in the analysis of the ways to use acoustics in the content and messages in the Kazakh language.

The methodology of this article is based on quantitative methods such as content analysis based on works on the nature and role of acoustics in various fields.

The results of the study show that processing the sound of radio broadcasts, the absence of echoes in the air, a positive effect on the mood of the audience – all these processes are created through the fruits of multimedia technologies. Thus, the use of acoustics in radio equipment is a continuing trend in traditional journalism.

The research results can be applied in applied works on radio and television journalism.
