Abstract

The topic of thisarticle, indicated in the title, was emerged as the result ofresearch of the coverage by Ukrainiannewspaper»Day»(published in Ukrainian, Russianlanguages and the newspaper’s digest is in English) of the historical experience ofthe modernization ofa modern democratic state by the closest Ukrainianneighbors–the Poles. The editor-in-chief of this newspaper considers productive to study the Polish experience of the integration of society into a modern European Union, taking into account the overall learning of the civilizational space, as well as the problematic aspects of the issue.
