Verification of information in modern journalism

Abstract

Saturation of content in the mainstream of the modern technological process has generated a number
of negative phenomena.In the opinion of the authors, the method of fact-checking and verification,
which is closely connected with research practice, appeared after mitigating the control of the editorial
staff behind the accuracy of the actual basis of journalistic material.Secondly, this is a true indicator of
minimizing the intellectual preparation of young journalists.Thirdly, this is a weak orientation of journalists
in the choice of significant facts in a powerful flow of information.
