Accreditation of universities in Kazakhstan: problems and prospects Introduction.

The paper aims to analyze the accreditation process in the example of procedures and rules by the American Communication Association (ACA). The author analyses the key standards for review by the ACA. Those standards cover 15 different areas such as Curriculum, Governance, Faculty, Library, Student Advising, Research, Budget, etc. The paper argues that while accreditation process may seem challenging, the outcome of the work will bring many opportunities to the programs under the review.References
