Қазіргі киноөндіріс, оның ішінде деректі фильмдер қаржылық мәселелерді шешудің балама көздерін іздеуде. Деректі фильмдер дамып келеді, жас ұрпақ смарт құрылғыларда фильмдер көреді және жаңа жобаларды шығаруға сұраныс артуда. Бұл жобаларды қаржыландыру кеңістігінде краудфандинг қарқын алуда. Батыс елдерінде краудфандинг айтарлықтай табысқа қол жеткізіп, олардың үлгісіне сүйене отырып, қазақстандық режиссерлер жобаларды жүзеге асырудың жаңа мүмкіндіктерін пайдалануда. Американдық ғалым Э.Моллик краудфандинг – бұл көп адамдардан шағын жарналарды тарту мақсатында интернет кеңістігін пайдалану арқылы жобаларды қаржыландыру деп есептейді. Зерттеудің мақсаты – краудфандингті деректі фильмдерді қаржыландырудың және тәуелсіз кино өндірісін қолдаудың балама тәсілі ретінде анықтау. Бұл мақалада краудфандинг деректі фильмдерді қаржыландырудың үлгісі және тәуелсіз деректі мамандар үшін мүмкіндік ретінде қарастырылады. Сәтті краудфандинг науқандарын қарастырып, қиындықтар мен мүмкіндіктерді талдап, мақала Қазақстан мен Түркия мысалдарын пайдалана отырып, тәуелсіз деректі фильмдерді қаржыландыру және тарату құралы ретінде бұл баламаның әлеуетін бағалауды ұсынады. Бірнеше елдердегі краудфандинг платформаларын зерттеу де қарастырылады. Деректі фильмдердің дамып келе жатқан жалпы көрінісі және тәуелсіз фильм өндірісін қолдаудағы краудфандингтің қарқынды әлеуеті туралы жан-жақты түсінік беріледі. Авторлар сонымен қатар жобаларды қаржыландыруға қол жеткізу қиын елдердің әйел режиссерлері үшін краудфандингтің құндылығын атап өткен. Краудфандинг гранттар, демеушілік және инвестициялар сияқты дәстүрлі көздерге балама ұсына отырып, деректі фильмдерді қаржыландырудың танымал тәсіліне айналуда.
