The role of online publications in the development of the modern kazakh story

The article examines the role of online publications in the development of the modern Kazakh story.
It is noted that various electronic publications have appeared on the Internet: magazines, websites, portals, libraries that promote the dissemination of works of small prose.
The purpose of the article is to study the role of online publications in the development of modern Kazakh short story.
The result of the study is characterized by the fact that various types of network resources have been identified. These are alternative publications to traditional literary magazines. In addition, online magazines focusing on traditional literary magazines are characterized; as well as publications of creative unions of writers. Global projects combining magazines, newspapers, almanacs, publishing houses, information portals are also characterized.
The activities of the above-mentioned publications are aimed at the development of fiction, including the modern short story, which in the era of the Internet turned out to be the most popular genre. Its small volume made it possible to win in the struggle for readers' attention with other genres, such as the novella and the novel.
The theoretical significance of the article is determined by the fact that its materials can be used to systematize ideas about the modern Kazakh story. The practical significance of the article is that its provisions and conclusions can be used to develop a technology for analyzing a modern Kazakh story in high school classes.
